DJ Rafik Routine @ DMC Hanover 2026

Rafik is one of the most talented DJs Germany has to offer. After this routine from the DMC in Hanover, the oldest and probably best known DJ championship there is, that is confirmed for me all over again. I have never seen anyone combine turntablism and controller the way he does. Normally people like that either bash away at controllers or they scratch.

Maybe that is one reason why he did not get any further at the Goldie Awards (which come out of the Fool’s Gold camp) either: he did not fit neatly into either of the two categories.

With a monster of a routine like this, the question of category or genre does not even come up. It just rips!
